The Baroda Broadway VI
Epilogue
Its been a week now, since the convention ended. New friends made, old bonds strengthened. Sharing a laugh, learning a lot. The memories of the trip, Udyan, DQ, 22451, Shatabdi, VRL bus and of course the convention itself. The meticulous planning by the OC team, the field visits, the presentations, all of which were like the stress buster to the mundane 9-5 jobs that we do daily.
That camaraderie amongst RFs, the sharing of joy, mourning the loss of Prof Shiva, and the moving tribute given by Prof Ian Manning, the witty session with Prof Sachinder Sharma, the brilliant presentations by Ashish sir and Nihit all lingers on, like the sweet taste of Basundi.
The week has passed, but the memories remain. When the mood sags as I do my daily work , a quick look at the photos and the memories brings back a smile on my face.
As we move from the Electric loco haven to the Land of Diesels for next year , I cannot help but tell myself, Do not miss it.
